Transition Linlithgow are committed to tackling climate change with the community. We are part of the Transition Network. This is an international movement of community-led initiatives exploring the benefits of sustainable living. They also raise awareness of issues associated to climate change.
There are many ways to get involved with Transition Linlithgow. We run a diverse range of projects including the Transition Linlithgow Tool Library, Linlithgow Active Travel Hub, Home Energy Advice and more. We currently have the following volunteering opportunities:
- Attending events and helping represent Transition Linlithgow
- Administrating the Tool Library and refurbishing donated tools
- Supporting the Active Travel hub by becoming a qualified Bike Technician
- Tree planting in Linlithgow and Beecraigs Country Park
- Gardening projects at Donaldson’s School and in collaboration with Burgh Beautiful
- Campaigning on environmental and climate change issues
- Joining our Board of Trustees
