Transition Linlithgow are committed to tackling climate change with the community. We are part of the Transition Network. This is an international movement of community-led initiatives exploring the benefits of sustainable living.  They also raise awareness of issues associated to climate change.

There are many ways to get involved with Transition Linlithgow.  We run a diverse range of projects including the Transition Linlithgow Tool Library, Linlithgow Active Travel Hub, Home Energy Advice and more.  We currently have the following volunteering opportunities:

  • Attending events and helping represent Transition Linlithgow
  • Administrating the Tool Library and refurbishing donated tools
  • Supporting the Active Travel hub by becoming a qualified Bike Technician
  • Tree planting in Linlithgow and Beecraigs Country Park
  • Gardening projects at Donaldson’s School and in collaboration with Burgh Beautiful
  • Campaigning on environmental and climate change issues
  • Joining our Board of Trustees
