My Linlithgow

LCDT is currently working on updating the My Linlithgow website to ensure all relevant local and national information is accessible during the coronavirus.

There will be a section for resources and a separate section for the weekly blogs, in addition to the continual update of the What’s On section.

The weekly blogs will also be shared in the Linlithgow and Linlithgow Coronavirus Support Facebook groups to ensure as many people as possible see them.

Keep your eyes peeled for changes and if you have any suggestions email [email protected].

Local Business Updates on My Linlithgow

One Linlithgow has been working closely with My Linlithgow and now all local business updates are on the My Linlithogw website. You can find an up-to-date list of businesses and current trading details, with links through to the business directory so you can access their website and social media pages.

Are You on the Community Groups Mailing List?

LCDT have emailed out to all their contacts for local groups to check everyone is on the community groups mailing list. They want to stay in touch and are offering support if you need it. If you haven’t heard from them please email [email protected] to be added.

Group Chairs and Committee members are very welcome to be on the mailing list, but this is also for anyone interested in the support LCDT can offer to local groups.

Does your local group need support with any of the following, or anything else?

  • Helping move your activities or meetings online
  • Promoting what you’re doing
  • Finding new volunteers interested in getting involved
  • Printing posters for the community noticeboards

LCDT would love to hear from you!

LCDT May Board Meeting

At the latest Board meeting, LCDT Directors were pleased to hear that community groups are working well together during the coronavirus crisis. Board members are happy to be playing a part in co-ordinating the local efforts.

It’s an interesting time to get involved and become a Board member if you are thinking about how you could support the local community right now. LCDT are looking for someone who can spare 4 hours a month and can work effectively as part of a small team. If you would like an informal chat to find out more, please email [email protected].
