General Fundraiser

Where (Location)
Linlithgow (mainly working from home, although some work at venues)
Time Commitment
Possibly two hours per week
Role Description
Organiser of general fund-raising activities (apart from established major activities which already have their own current coordinators)
Main tasks
Organisation of events like quiz nights, activities such as sale of calendars and duck race entries; organisation of occasional can collections; promotion of any other fund-raising activities that come to mind
Required skills, qualities, and experience
Preferably past experience in fund-raising; ability to mix socially; it would be good to have local knowledge and appropriate contacts
Training and support available
Support will be provided by members of the Burgh Beautiful committee and its volunteers generally
Any other requirements
Enthusiasm for floral displays, etc and a love of Linlithgow!
