SUP Central Scotland Avon Aqueduct
Event Details
Meeting at the Muiravonside Parish Church car park at 6pm for a 6.30pm launch – it might be wise to bring headtorches/lights.
Paddle is on the Union canal which is usually fairly sheltered. Launch spot is down a few steps to the canal. Ultimate goal is to cross over the Avon Aqueduct which isn’t particularly far away. It’s starting to get spectacular with the Autumn Colours.
Please note, this stretch of canal has been fairly weedy – you have been warned!
Remember to bring biscuits for the half-time natter! We will be heading left, just in case you are running late…
