Stan and Ollie

Join Linlithgow Film Society for their AGM and then and watch Stan and Ollie. The “true story” of Hollywood’s greatest comedy double act on their last post-war theatre tour of Britain and Ireland.
Stan Laurel (Coogan) and Oliver Hardy (Reilly) are recreated by these two talented actors, the resemblance to the stars is remarkable (see news clips during the credits). With their golden days behind them they take on a gruelling tour of nearly all the variety halls in the UK supported by their wives Lucille (Henderson) and Ida (Arianda) both actresses giving super performances – a double act in their own right.
