Online Farm Sunday September

Open Farm Sunday 20th September is shaping up to bring you a plethora of new farming related content that we just can’t wait to share!

Alongside more ‘live’ virtual farm tours taking place throughout the day, we’ve two key themes of Produce & Provenance and Wildlife & Biodiversity.

On Sunday, we’re bringing to your screens a series of ‘Facebook live’ virtual farm tours, from Jersey to Aberdeenshire, Powys to .. Ghana! That’s right, we’re whisking you off to a couple of international farms to see how they produce some of Britain’s favourite tropical foods.

Alongside this, we’ve got some beautiful footage of the wonderfully varied wildlife and biodiversity that’s found in the British countryside that we’re excited to show you.

British Food Fortnight starts on Saturday 19th September this year, with our specific focus of Produce & Provenance being highlighted on this day, with some live cookery demonstrations, lots of recipes and even a chat on nutrition.

There might even be some resources and activity sheets very kindly created by our sponsors – so there truly is something for every member of the family!
