Come and enjoy the spectacle of our costumed performers in the dramatic setting of Linlithgow Palace. At 2.30 pm we travel back through time to 1530 to await the arrival of James V, King of Scotland at his royal palace. Hear of his plans to refurbish the palace, including the building of a magnificent fountain in the centre of the courtyard. At 3.30 pm we have moved forward to 1561, anticipating the return of Mary, Queen of Scots to her birthplace. Her French jester and members of the court will remind you of the changing politics and religious reforms of that time. Following the performances you can have your photo taken with Mary, Queen of Scots and her court in the Great Hall.
