Whatever 2020 has brought us Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without the Hallelujah Chorus – and the rest of Handel’s timeless masterpiece Messiah. Four fantastic soloists, choir and a virtuoso orchestra including festive trumpets and drums serve up a Yuletide feast of spectacular choruses and unforgettable arias including The Trumpet Shall Sound and I know that my Redeemer Liveth.
The Dunedin Consort, who won a Gramophone Award for their recording of Messiah are now internationally renowned with recent tours to Poland, USA and South America. We are so proud to continue their close relationship with Perth Concert Hall and to sign 2020 off in style with them.
