Born in 1998 and of Nigerian-Scottish descent, Aaron Azunda Akugbo hails from Edinburgh and is poised as a future leading exponent of his instrument. He brings a wide-ranging musical taste to his artistry and despite being classically trained, cites Louis Armstrong as his biggest musical inspiration.

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and an ex-principal of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, Aaron can often be seen freelancing in the principal chairs of some of the most prestigious orchestras in the UK including the Philharmonia, BBC Philharmonic, BBC Symphony and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras.

Turkish Pianist Zeynep Özsuca has performed worldwide as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist. Born in Ankara, she began piano lessons at the four, won Istanbul Symphony’s  Young Soloists competition in 2001, and moved to the USA to complete her studies. She then majored in accompaniment and vocal studies in Berlin, and now lives in London pursuing her career as a concert pianist.

Linlithgow Arts Guild

Linlithgow Arts Guild is a voluntary organisation. Its aim is to “Bring Excellence in the Live Arts to Linlithgow”, and since 1969 we have had the privilege of promoting many fine performances by artists, ensembles and orchestras of world renown. The vast majority of performers are professional musicians who perform internationally. The concerts are open to everyone. Our programmes are varied and we hope to attract as many people as possible to spread the substantial costs of our events. Tickets for individual concerts are on sale to the general public for all of our events. We normally have around 200 season-ticket holders who comprise the membership. Our audience numbers have averaged around 200 in recent years, with nearly 400 for major events. We have sold tickets throughout Central Scotland, and sometimes further afield..
