Swish and Afternoon Tea

A perfect opportunity to clear out your wardrobe and get some new clothes, without breaking the bank or the environment!

About this event

Do you maybe have some bits and pieces in your wardrobe that you just don’t wear any more, or maybe you’re looking for some inspiration or a new style? Bring them along to our swishing event where you can swap with other like minded souls. You can bring or swish as many items as you like all we ask is that they are in good condition – imagine you’re bringing something that you would lend to a friend, and that quality is definitely better than quantity! You can bring anything from clothes to shoes to accessories but sadly we cannot accept worn swimwear or underwear. You can drop your swishing items off at the Old Library, The Vennel in the week running up to the event from Monday 29th August to Thursday 1st Sept between 10 and 4. You can also drop them off on the day of the event between 10 and 12. Dropping items off early gives us time to get everything organised so you can spend your swishing time happily browsing. We are asking for a donation on the door for entry, with our suggested donation being £5. We’re also including teas/coffees and a selection of tasty cakes and treats so you’ll have a chance to sit back and relax after a busy swishing session.
