Is delighted to announce Glasgow Warriors & Scotland Rugby (Training Squad) Players Jamie Dobie & Ross Thompson will be delivering a skills clinic at Linlithgow RFC on Monday 27th September 2021
The sessions are for players (U13-15 & U16-U18) with previous playing experience and who want to take their performance to the next level. Jamie & Ross will deliver activities focusing on attack, handling, 9 & 10 combinations & kicking.
Both Jamie & Ross captained their school’s (Merchiston Castle School & Stewart’s Melville College) to victory in the Scottish Schools U18 Cup Finals at BT Murrayfield before starting thier professional careers at Glasgow Warriors.
Notably, throughout the 2020/21 season Jamie & Ross built a strong partnership whilst playing for Glasgow Warriors in the Pro 14. Their outstanding performances both earned them call ups to the Scotland Squad for the Summer Tour which was unfortunately cut short due to COVID-19.
Jamie was also fortunate to be apart of the Scotland Squad for the 2021 6 Nations.
Jamie & Ross’ experience of playing and working in an elite professional environment will ensure our players receive expert advice and an unique insight into improving performance.
There will be an opportunity for a Q&A, autographs and pictures at the end of the session.
