Action Counters Terrorism: Festive Safety Briefing For Businesses
Event Details
Event Details
Earlier this month, the Home Secretary announced the UK threat level was being reduced from “Severe” where it meant an attack was highly likely, to “Substantial”, meaning that an attack is likely. Despite the lowered risk, given the hub of activity happening around the country in the next few weeks, such as the general election and the run up to Christmas, our towns and cities will be busier than usual, which is why it’s important to stay vigilant.
Serious Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Lead, David MacCrimmon, will take delegates through the current threat landscape, help them understand how to share and gather information and seek ways to combat terrorism and crime in their communities.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Watch Manager Gary Wood will also be on hand to chat to businesses on how to ensure their premises are fire safe over the festive period.
PLEASE NOTE: Tickets are non-transferable. If you can no longer attend and wish to send someone else from your organisation, please email us.
