LCDT Newsletter May 2023

Cycle Circuit
Join us for the grand opening of the West Lothian Cycle Circuit!
Following years of fundraising and planning, Saturday 27th May will see the long-awaited cycle circuit launch. With fun activities for the whole community, this is a celebration of the cycle circuit and all it will bring to the area.
Soon to be available for use by individuals or local groups, for training, racing and exercise, the circuit is an exciting development for the area. Carole Racionzer, Chair of LCDT, says “After all the hard work and millions of hours of volunteer time, we are so excited to finally realise our vision in Linlithgow. This has been a true partnership between so many organisations and we can’t wait to see the facility in action, a fantastic outcome for cycle-sport, for community development, for active travel and for cycling tourism.”
We look forward to seeing you there! Stay tuned for more details on how you and your group can use the facility.

We are delighted to be hosting a Tech Donation Box from the Edinburgh Remakery this month. Available in our foyer until 24th May, drop in with your unwanted laptops, tablets, smartphones and digital SLRs to donate them for refurbishing!

We are expecting a large turn-out from the community to take advantage of a wide range of activities and to support this we’re looking to fill a number of volunteering roles. Including stewarding, manning the refreshments tent and providing information to our guests.
