Join us for the official launch of John Cooper Clarke’s long-awaited memoir I Wanna Be Yours!

In this intimate one-off event, hosted by John’s long-time friend, confidante, and road-manager Johnny Green, JCC will finally lift the lid on the highs and lows of an incredible career which starts in Salford, spans five decades and as many continents, and features an incredible cast of characters along the way.

Throughout the evening, John will be joined by a series of special guests who celebrate the impact John’s work has had on their own lives – and don’t miss your chance to ask John your own questions in the audience Q&A.

This event will be broadcast live from Vout-O-Renees, an Arts Club for the Surrealistically Distinguished and one of John’s favourite London venues.

John Cooper Clarke is a phenomenon: Poet Laureate of Punk, rock star, fashion icon, TV and radio presenter, social and cultural commentator. As a writer his voice is equally unmistakable and his own brand of slightly sick humour is never far from the surface.
