Linlithgow and Bo’ness Probus Club
The Linlithgow and Bo'ness Probus Club is for retired and semi-retired individuals who would like to find new friends. The club has many different activities on offer. This includes talks from external speakers as well as some presentations by members. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet retired professional businessmen and women that share your passions and interests. The club recently had their 45th anniversary in 2021. The club currently has around 40 members however new members are very welcome!
When and where do you meet:
The Linlithgow and Bo'ness Probus Club meet at 10:00 am every second Wednesday from September through to May in the Linlithgow Rose Social Club. The meetings usually finish around 12 (noon) and teas and coffees are available. For full information, please take a look at our website.
Why would I be interested in getting involved?
The purpose of the Club is to provide a regular meeting point for retired professional and business people who value increased social contacts in their retirement. There are many different activities that take place. Activities include presentations and talks, indoor games, quizzes, bowls competitions with other Probus Clubs as well as there being visits. There are also special events that happen on St Andrew’s Day, Christmas, and Burns Night where you can bring a partner! As a result it is a fantastic place to make new friends and have lots of fun!
