The Lobster Pot is intended to be a gentle easy going Seaside Pub.  We are here serving the local community and visitors to Blackness on Sea and the Castle.  We welcome walkers and cyclists on the Famous John Muir way. The Little Shop adjoining the bar provides basic essentials for walkers and villagers. This includes plasters and puncture outfits and Soft Serve Ice cream. We also provide Tourist Information on our historic village.  We have been visited by Robert Burns, Robert Louis Stephenson and Mel Gibson.  He planted the Magic Tree of Blackness outside the Pub and adorned it with local seaside decoration. This is a practice which continues to this day.
