Linlithgow Arts Guild
Linlithgow Arts Guild (LAG) is a volunteer ran organisation, (Scottish Charity no SCO48083). It promotes performances by artists, ensembles and orchestras of world renown, therefore performing mainly classical music. As a result, the majority of performers are professional musicians who perform internationally. Linlithgow Arts Guild runs the only programme of professional classical music concerts in West Lothian, and they are for the benefit of the whole community.
Where and when do you meet:
Our venues include Linlithgow Academy, St Michael’s Parish Church and Linlithgow Primary School. All venues have free parking and are accessible. We typically run 8-9 events per year between October and April, on Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm. Details can be found on the what's on pages and our website.
Why would I be interested in getting involved:
Everyone is welcome to our events. Tickets can be bought for individual events, and a season ticket to all events gives a significant saving. Also, a family season ticket is available.
The organisation is a charity and as such run by a committee and therefore we welcome volunteers to join us, either on the committee or occasional help. We have opportunities for marketing, promotion, helping at events, administration, technology, planning, publications.
