Linlithgow Museum
Linlithgow Museum is a volunteer-run community museum. It opened in April 2019, the museum tells the story of the town. We have a fantastic community space which we will use to run events and activities including school and reminiscence sessions. Linlithgow Heritage Trust (a registered charity) runs the Museum.
Where and when do you meet?
The Museum is open 6 days a week, except Tuesday and entry is free. However, we have volunteer opportunities available helping us in the lead up to this and the team are happy to get enquiries about the Museum’s development. We will be based on the first floor of the Partnership Centre with a lift to help accessibility. If you are coming in a large group please give us some notice as there is limited gallery space.
How can I get involved?
As a volunteer-run organisation, we are always on the lookout for new volunteers. They help with front of house, shop, collection management, running school sessions and as out trustees. Put simply, our fantastic volunteers are integral to the Museum! Volunteering with us is a great way to learn new skills, meet new people or learn more about Linlithgow. There is something for everyone. Contact us for a chat about how you can get involved.
