Linlithgow Film Society was founded in 1973 when the local cinema closed. Over the years the Society has progressed to the most up to date projection and sound equipment available and the comfort of raked seating in the theatre at Linlithgow Academy. In addition to the programme shown in Linlithgow Academy, the Linlithgow Film Society also takes films out to the wider community, to residential care homes, sheltered housing and the local hospital and Day Care Centre.

Where and when do you meet?

All performances are shown at Linlithgow Academy Theatre, curtain up 7:30 pm. Guest Tickets are available for all performances at the door; Adults: £6.00, Concessions £5.00, Under 16 Concessions £4.00. Also see our annual programme of events which runs from September to April.

Why would I be interested in getting involved?

Annual membership subscriptions are available.  If you wish to help in the community aspect of the Society please do get in touch
