2nd Linlithgow Girls Brigade

Girls Brigade
Description:

All sections of the company enjoy making crafts, playing games, hearing Bible stories, going on outings, having parties, as well as learning of social issues and making new friends. The Girls’ Brigade in Scotland is an autonomous member of a worldwide organisation for girls and young women working within a framework of Christian principles. We are a modern, progressive organisation open to girls of all faiths or none and operate throughout Scotland with 230 companies serving over 9,000 members in the communities of Scotland

When and where do you meet?

We meet on a Wednesday in the Kirk Hall, Cross House.
Explorers: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm, Juniors: 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, Brigaders: 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Why would I be interested in being involved?

The best way to find out what Girls' Brigade is all about is to go along to a company in your area and experience firsthand what we offer to girls of all ages.

All our activities are only possible because of the time and effort given by the company’s officers and helpers, all of whom have fully complied with the organisation’s Child Protection requirements. So much more could be offered if we had more staff to share the work.  Could you give some time to promote the aim of the Girls’ Brigade?  Experience of the organisation is not necessary. Contact the Captain, Clare McLay, with any queries.
