2nd West Lothian Scout Group
Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. Scouting is organised into local Groups, who look after the three younger Sections: Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and Explorers are looked after by the District. Beaver Scouts (6 - 8 years), Cub Scouts (8 - 10 1/2 years), Scouts (10 1/2 - 14 years), Explorer Scouts (14 - 18 years). We are a registered charity (SC000407)
When and where do you meet?
We meet in the Scout Hall in Linlithgow. Beavers meet Wednesdays. Cubs meet Mondays. Scouts meet Wednesdays & Thursdays. Explorers meet Thursdays There is a waiting list for all sections.
Why would I be interested in getting involved?
We always need volunteer leaders - we currently have around 20 leaders. We are always looking for new people to support our groups to run so please get in touch if you can support as a leader or with fundraising.
