I am Francine Howie, and I have always had an eagle eye for grammar and spelling. In 2020, I obtained my Certificate in Proofreading and Copy Editing from The Writer’s Bureau. So far, I have proofread a few articles and essays, and I am also a volunteer proofreader for my town’s local magazine. Before coming to the UK (Scotland) in 1992, I lived in several countries, and I have an international outlook. Furthermore, I am also multi-lingual (English, German, French and Spanish). Part of my education was spent at an American school, so I am also able to proofread literature in American English.
