Bridge 49 Cafe Bar & Bistro
Bridge 49 Cafe Bar & Bistro is a small family run cafe bar and bistro located on the banks of the Union Canal.
The bistro was built on grazing land, with the initial planning application being lodged in 2008. It took almost 5 years to go from that moment through to welcoming our first customer when we opened on 13th May 2013.
Since then we have served breakfast, lunch and dinner (weekends only) and wherever possible we use locally sourced food and drinks. Our aim is to give our customers a relaxing enjoyable experience in beautiful surroundings.
For the better weather, we have a lovely outside seating area where you can relax and watch the boats go by in the summer months. We also have a children’s play area to keep the little ones amused during your visit to Bridge 49.
