Alex Wood is an experienced genealogical teacher and researcher, a full member of the Association of Scottish Genealogists and Researchers in Archives and a graduate of Strathclyde University's post-graduate degree in Genealogical Studies. Few countries have an ancestral footprint as large as Scotland’s and interest in Scottish genealogy has never been greater.

Although Scotland has some of the world’s best records, tracing your own family history can be daunting. With many years’ experience, I can take that burden from you and provide a comprehensive report on your ancestry. A Family History can also be a truly magical gift for a friend's or relative's special birthday. My hourly charge is £25 and I can provide research to a specific amount (for example, for £200 you would receive 8 hours of research and writing) or deliver a specific research option.
