Safety First (Scotland) Ltd is Scotland's leading specialist hirer and supplier of equipment for safe working in confined spaces, working at height and cable avoidance tools.
Formed in 2000 by Michael and Brenda Green in Linlithgow. Chosen because of its excellent road networks to the Central Belt. Safety First was initially focussed on providing a second to none service to the Civil Engineering and Construction trades. It rapidly established a reputation for excellent service, quality products from leading brands such as Drager, Sala, Status, Radiodection etc.., and solid reliable advice throughout the whole of Scotland.
Providing a service for critical safety equipment is by its nature more demanding than providing tools and machines. It is by setting new standards of excellence in supporting safe working in Confined Spaces and when Working at Height that clearly has differentiated Safety First from the pack.
Now with a fleet holding of over a thousand items and growing, and a loyal customer base which includes not only blue-chip Civil Engineering giants such as AMEC plc., Gleesons but also many clients from sectors such as local authorities, oil and gas, industrial cleaning amongst many other trades.
