Linlithgow Community Development Trust are seeking a new Treasurer. This is a great opportunity to join our Board as we develop as an organisation. You’ll also be supporting the aims and projects of a local community development trust within our thriving and vibrant town.
The Treasurer’s responsibility will be to liaise with the accountants to ensure the annual accounts are completed promptly and correctly. They will work with the manager/chair to ensure monthly accounting reports are up to date and accurate. The Treasurer will assist the Board in making strategic decisions around the overall financial management of the Trust. They will have the full support of the Board and staff.
Board meetings are every six weeks for a couple of hours either online or at the EH49 Hub. There may occasionally be other meetings which can be online. This will allow the candidate to familiarise themselves with the project and secure the information to complete the accounts.
