This spineless cactus make it a firm favourite for those not wanting to get prickled!
Loves a humid home, so mist regularly
It likes to have bright but indirect light to really thrive but is quite adaptable and can tolerate slightly less, growth will be slower though. Watch out for especially thin, stretched out stems which indicates the plant is reaching out for brighter conditions. Unlike ordinary cactus you can treat a fishbone cactus like your other houseplants by watering when the top inch or two of the pot has dried out. Watering depends on your potting mix will, the more free-draining and less dense the mix, the more frequently you’ll need to water.
These Epiphyllum produce amazing blooms in summer and make amazing hanging plants. Although this may be a little tricky, the cactus needs to be in brighter light to flower, this will need to be done over time, gradually to get the plant used to it’s new environment.
