Upholstery For Beginners

Transition Linlithgow are proud to be working once again with Upholstery by Laura. There will be a Upholstery For Beginners workshop. This is a 7-week workshop split between Laura’s specially designed upholstery workshop at Park Farm and the Transition Linlithgow Tool Library workshop at Donaldson’s School.  (Please note – weeks 2 & 3 will be at the Transition Linlithgow Workshop)

In this workshop you will learn all the basics of upholstery and transform your piece with expert guidance. You will have the opportunity to sand, prepare and paint your piece of furniture to match your newly chosen fabric perfectly. Bring along you own piece of furniture to work on or choose from our collection of vintage and retro dining chairs. There is a maximum of 4 students for this workshop. This means you will receive plenty of tuition to complete your upholstery project.
