For the first time in around 150 years, a canal barge will transport local produce direct from farm to market. The Veg Boat will make its way from Narrowboat Farm, 2 miles east of Linlithgow, into Manse Road Basin.
The replica historic boat ‘Wee Spark’ will transport the vegetables for selling on a stall at the canal basin from 11am -4pm. All the vegetables are naturally grown at Narrowboat Farm, chemical-free and tasty!
The Linlithgow Union Canal tea room is also open in the afternoon.
