A concert of classical music for String Orchestra, featuring Schumann’s Cello Concerto Op.129 performed by Linlithgow’s own Molly McWhirter. Accompanied by The Antonine Ensemble, directed by Alison Hastie.
Also performing Elgar’s Serenade for Strings, Albinoni Sinfonia in Bb, and Walton’s Music from Henry V Suite and Heinrich Biber’s quirky Battalia.
The event shall be un-ticketed, but donations shall be invited from the audience. Benefiting charity this year is Mental Health Foundation.
