Event Details

The legendary Cliff Richard will deliver an exclusive session of music and stories from his home in Barbados as part of the Royal Albert Home sessions.

In these strange times, closing the Hall’s doors is the best way to look after the world, but we are now opening a (virtual) window for you to experience some of the most talented artists around.

Sir Cliff Richard is indisputably Britain’s all-time greatest hit-maker – the ultimate pop star. In 60 years he has recorded almost 1,300 song titles, composed 100 songs, achieved 14 number one singles and 7 chart-topping albums.

Highlights of this remarkable career are too numerous to mention, but successful films, musicals, tours and television shows have all contributed to the Cliff Richard legend. He received a Knighthood in 1995 for his tireless charity work and was one of the Olympic torch bearers ahead of the 2012 Games.

Sir Cliff has performed at the Hall on well over 100 occasions since first appearing here in 1959, most recently playing in 2018 as part of his 60th anniversary tour. We’re delighted to receive his support during this troubling time for the venue and to present this exclusive lockdown session for his fans.
