What will St Michael’s be like in 2030? Come to one of these fun and inspirational workshops to help create St Michael’s ‘future story’! Led by Rev Russell McLarty and facilitators from the church, we’ll work together to create and share characters and to discuss their ‘good gossip’ about St Michael’s and the ‘wow’ things about our buildings in the year 2030.
Russell McLarty is a Church of Scotland minister who has worked for many years with churches undergoing periods of change. The workshop process grew out of his passions for storytelling and for churches to develop both their people and their buildings to the best of their potential. Alan Miller (Session Clerk) attended one of Russell’s workshops a few months ago and said “This was definitely the most fun I’ve ever had thinking about the future!”
All the material from the workshops will feed into a process where we will use visual art, words and music to think through which ideas we might focus on as we start to look towards 2030.
